There are lots of specials in the magazines at the moment on how to get fit and which bikini is the best match for your figure – but when it comes to the real thing for me I seem to forget all the good advice and once again can’t decide. I thought the way forward would be to find the ideal bikini and then start on the exercises to fit in it; By that way I have a goal clearly in front and look forward to it. There are so many to choose from in all colours. Last year I took actually one bikini for every day with me but only wore one in the end. That one is now bleached by the sun and water so a new one is a must. I have pretty much an hourglass figure with pear tendencies depending on my food intake and my tests have shown in the past that boyish shorts are a no no as they exaggerate the bottom half but I much prefer to do the same with the upper half. So normal briefs are perfect, I can’t do those that are tied on the sides as they just only squeeze my hip gold in. Halterneck tops are possible but I think better for bigger boobs. I got one bikini with a boob tube top which is actually really nice because you don’t have that many tanning lines.

My friend suggested to go for a monokini for a change but I am shy of that as I think they are made for slender size 6 to 8’s. People say not to go for bold prints or vertical stripes if you are over a size 10, well I am a 10 and I say bold is so a must for me! Every year I find some nice bikinis at H&M so I’ll have to go there and report back. asos.com do nice ones too and so does figleaves.co.uk.
Unique is not everything because I’ll be on holiday away from the UK high street so duplicates should be eliminated. Leaves #1 colour, #2 print, #3 fit and #4 style. To help me decide I have asked my twitter friends who said SoloLisa@inmode I like the look of sexy one-pieces, but bikinis seem easier to shop for. Plus fewer weird tanlines! fairykikka@inmode bikini for ever!! My solution here is to find one of each. Only by wearing them I will find out. Right, I’ll have to go back on my twist board – I can only recommend it, it’s fun and easy plus I can watch tv at the same time..
Bikini: Tara Matthews (I love the glamour factor on this one but yet it’s not ott) – One Piece: Milly, found on ShopStyle.co.uk (here I like the plunge front so it doesn’t close you in)

What a fun post! I love the idea of fancier monokinis, but when it comes to tanning, I go for a bandeau style bikini. It’s just the easiest thing to wear and it makes for best tan lines!
i agree – bandeau is for least tan lines ..btw i’m still searching
– my indecisiveness doesn’t help..
