Everyone knows it and some of you may suffer from it right now: the January blues.
I really didn’t want to fall into it this year but feel it lingering a little bit in the background still. The festive season is over and everything seems bleaker than before with all the glitter and friends around. Not that friends will be suddenly gone but you could perhaps do with another companion who keeps you cosy yet dressed: the lovely cardi. I have never invested in one before except on the odd occasion, I’m more the sort of shopper who buys pretty going out stuff but then hasn’t got day to day wear unless I would wear party dresses to work. But I discovered how great cardis actually are! Especially the long line ones (wear with a belt to give it the wow) but also the cropped version will keep you warm and can spice up your outfit.
cosy yet dressed: the lovely cardi
My recent purchases are an orange one, a cropped fuchsia one with puff sleeves and a simple black long line one. Currently I’m working on some beaded broche embellishments to spruce them up as and when I fancy it. Winter blues goodbye – the craft work takes my mind off it and the cardi keeps me warm.

I love cardigans, but according to my mom I just like granny sweaters, I don’t think she gets my stylez, lol.
Much love,
