In Mode is German, like me, and means “in fashion”. Having studied fashion design that’s exactly what I’m meant to be: in fashion as in one with it, working it, breathing it. Well, I’m not. I’m very much the opposite I think at times and struggle 3 out of 5 days to find something to wear. I use it. I make it at times. I admire it. I observe it. Fashion is always there for me in one way or the other but I don’t seem to be compatible with it. I don’t work within fashion but I can’t leave it. It’s a sort of love-hate relationship and I’d happily share the pain. So I decided to start the blog and report on my struggles or observations and musings. It’s also a way for me to get other opinions and be in touch with other people who feel either the same or better with it. I like to spend time thinking about the content and designing bits and pieces.So far I’ve met great people just through writing this blog who were an inspiration or help or both.  I hope you enjoy it, too and find something of interest for you.
