I could hardly believe my eyes when I stumbled across these fabulous shoes (topshop) and thought it is of utmost importance to let you all know that everyone should be frilled this season! When I was a child I went to see a brilliant circus called Roncalli and ever since circus to me means “magic”. Frills again transport me directly to a manege and all the music and glitter and glamour of a circus. Inspired by this I created a short bolero jacket with wonderful frilled sleeves. Here it’s worn with a plain grey jumper underneath – opposites attract each other so they says. But it’s also a sweet addition to my grey and silver lace dress from Lipsy I found during my what-to-wear-NYE-crisis.
If you want a few frills but are more for the understated look get involved with this fine skirt and pair it with a plain yellow blouse (well any colour of course, I just love yellow).
